I read from an op-ed piece of Leonard Pitts on the radio this morning that all groups have their extremists.  His position is that moderate Muslims are periodically required to keep denouncing the radical terrorists, but that conservatives rarely denounce the radicals on the right wing fringe.  

    Have you ever noticed that liberals, like Mr. Pitts, have difficulty telling the truth?  I asked on the air this morning for someone to call and give me even one example of a Muslim ever denouncing the radical Muslim terrorists who kill people.  Since this happens frequently, there are ample opportunities for them to denounce it.  I pay pretty close attention to the news every day, and I’ll have to admit that I missed it when the moderate Muslim denounced the terrorists.  And, to say they are “required” to denounce them is quite a stretch of credibility.  Required by whom?

    On the other hand, we conservatives have denounced crazies on the right wing fringe many times.  It doesn’t take us any longer than it takes to get back on the air to denounce someone who kills an abortionist, or who advocates some type of violence.  I have recently been quite vocal in denouncing the folks on the right who promote the idea that our government deliberately planned and arranged for our fellow citizens to be killed on 9/11.  

    Liberals are not only wrong in their positions.  They are typically deceitful and dishonest with their so-called facts.  Sometimes, I don’t know if they are so deceived that they believe their canard to be the truth, or if they very well know the truth and are just straight-up bald-faced liars.  For some reason, Nancy Pelosi came to mind when I wrote that last sentence.

Good news.  The editor of the Amarillo Globe News sent me an email this morning thanking me for the submission of the editorial about Tim Tebow.  So, it should appear in the newspaper within a few days.  And, have I told you “blog-readers” that the FCC has granted the call letters we requested for our stations that will soon be on the air serving Vernon and Guymon?  For Vernon’s station, the call letters will be KVED – “Kingdom Victory Every Day”.  For Guymon’s station, the call letters will be KJDR – “King Jesus Definitely Reigns”.  We haven’t submitted a request yet for the station to be constructed in Liberal, KS.  Do you have a suggestion?  Let us know.

    Liberal Democrats like to tell us that Obama inherited an economic mess.  It’s Bush’s fault that we have such huge deficits, according to them.  Well, Bush is out of the picture.  He has nothing whatsoever to do with what is happening now.  Obama’s plan to correct the “mess” is to increase the deficit and the debt enormously.  His spending is completely unprecedented.  He has submitted a budget for fiscal 2011 of $3.8 trillion.  Do you know how much a trillion is?  To give you an idea, one trillion seconds ago will take you back over 31,000 years.  That’s about 5 times the amount of time that has passed since Adam was created.  

    It might not seem odd to say that this President is proposing spending more than any other President before him.  That could probably be said of many Presidents.  But, this one is proposing spending more than all of the previous Presidents combined.  Where are the liberals who told us the deficits of approximately $400 billion under Bush were intolerable?  Obama’s deficit for his first year in office is 4 times that, about $1.6 trillion.
